Terms of Service for Shaale
Effective Date: March 27, 2026

1. Introduction
Mirror Photos LLC ("Company", "we", "us", "our") operates the Shaale app ("Service"), a Kannada language learning application. By using the Service, you agree to these Terms of Service.

2. Eligibility and Accounts
The Service is intended for users of all ages, including children, under parental supervision. Users under 18 must have parental or guardian consent to create an account. Account registration is optional — the app can be used without signing in. If you create an account, you agree to provide accurate information and are responsible for your account security.

3. Service Description
Shaale provides interactive Kannada language lessons, quizzes, tracing exercises, vocabulary practice, and video content. The Service is provided for personal, non-commercial educational use only.

4. Subscriptions and In-App Purchases
Some features require a paid subscription ("Shaale PRO"). Subscriptions are offered through Apple's in-app purchase system and are subject to Apple's terms and conditions.

- Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
- You can manage and cancel your subscription at any time in iOS Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions.
- All payments are processed by Apple. Mirror Photos LLC does not handle payment information directly.
- Refunds are handled by Apple. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com.
- Any free trial period will be specified at the time of purchase. Unused portions of a free trial are forfeited upon purchasing a subscription.

5. Restore Purchases
If you previously purchased a Shaale PRO subscription, you can restore it from the Profile tab using the "Restore Purchases" option. Purchases are linked to your Apple ID.

6. User Content
Shaale does not require users to upload personal content. Any data generated through the app (lesson progress, quiz scores, coins earned) is used solely to power your learning experience. We do not use your learning data to train AI systems, and we do not sell your data.

7. Prohibited Uses
You agree not to misuse the Service, attempt to reverse engineer or resell any part of the Service, or use the Service to distribute unlawful content.

8. Data and Privacy
Your use of the Service is governed by our Privacy Policy available at https://www.shaale.ai/pp.txt. By using the Service, you consent to the data practices described there.

9. Account Deletion
You may delete your account and all associated data at any time from the Profile tab within the app. Account deletion is immediate and permanent.

10. Intellectual Property
All content within Shaale, including lessons, audio, video, and software, remains the property of Mirror Photos LLC and its licensors.

11. Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided "as is." Mirror Photos LLC shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA.
